Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay opens with light oak and mild pear bouquet with a hint of hazelnut. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle oak and tangerine blend with notes of stone fruit. I also detect hints of almond, caramel and lemon verbena. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Chard would pair well with prosciutto, brie and honey crostini appetizers. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Golden yellow in appearance, the 2016 vintage of Rosemary's Chardonnay offers aromas of peach skin, lychee fruit, orange blossom, and a hint of toast. On the palate, notes of green apple and mandarin rind are bolstered by energetic acidity and distinctive salinity. Enjoy this refreshing Chardonnay with fresh scallops and avocado or creamy risotto.
