Wine Review: This yellow colored white blend opens with a wet stone and light lime like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a crispy mineral infused lime. There were also hints of green pear present as well. The finish was dry and nicely refreshing. This wine would pair well with meals like mussels in a garlic broth or bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2008 Cotes de Tablas Blanc is a blend in the style of French Cotes du Rhone whites, and features intense aromas of stone fruits and minerals, flavors of apricot and Provençal herbs, rich texture, moderate acidity and a long peachy finish. Serve with Mussels Mariniere & Light fish (halibut, sole) with tropical salsa
