Wine Review: This dark red colored Rhone grape blend from the Tablas Creek opens with a stewed red plum and raspberry tea with hints of earth and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and structured. The flavor profile is tasty red plum and stony minerality blend with notes of cherries and blueberry. We also detected hints of clove, cola, and crushed stone. The finish is dry, and its medium tannins linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this impressive red blend with filet or coq au vin. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: An immediately appealing nose of sugarplum and wild strawberry, herbes de Provence and charcuterie. The mouth shows notes of milk chocolate and red cherry, deepened with olive tapenade and sweet green herbs. Some youthful Grenache tannins come out on the long, juicy finish. Enjoy any time over the next decade. Pair with grilled steaks, pastas with meat sauces and spicy sausages.
