Wine Review: This pale straw colored white blend opens with a tangerine and apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty mild green apple with notes of nicely integrated minerality. I also detected hints of white pepper and Anjou pear. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This pleasant white blend is very versatile and food friendly. It would pair well with many chicken dishes. I would pair it with chicken piccata. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2014 Patelin de Tablas Blanc leaps out of the glass with aromas of pineapple, ginger, quince, and pink grapefruit, with a briny mineral note emerging with air. In the mouth it's luscious with fresh pineapple, nectarine, honeycomb and clove oil flavors, kept refreshing by vibrant acids. The finish is long, rich and dry, with lingering flavors of watermelon rind, sea spray and lemon zest. Drink now and for the next 2-3 years.
