Wine Review: This almost clear colored white blend from Paso Robles opens with a mild pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and round. The flavor profile is a mild mineral and stone fruit blend with hints of honey. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. The panel suggested that this wine would nicely complement a seafood casserole or baked stuffed shrimp. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2012 Patelin de Tablas Blanc shows fruity, floral aromas of honeysuckle, apricot and candied grapefruit, with a spicy mineral note emerging with air. In the mouth it is mouth-filling with peach and lemon zest flavors and a creamy texture, but kept fresh by vibrant acids. The finish is long, rich and clean, with lingering flavors of peach and mineral. Drink now and for the next 2-3 years. FOOD PAIRINGS: Seafood cooked with garlic and white wine, lemon chicken, or light-fleshed fish with tropical salsa.
