Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Crios opens with green apple, lemon, and white peach bouquet with hints of florals and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and mouthwatering for a Chard. The flavor profile is green melon and juicy white peach with notes of mild lemon and saline. We also detected hints of tangerine and chalky minerality. The finish is dry and refreshing. While this wine does not necessarily remind you of a Chard, we were impressed to note that it is only 9% alcohol. The Tasting Panel would suggest pairing this wine with baked scallops or with Vietnamese spring rolls. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A golden Chardonnay with greenish hues. On the nose, it displays noticeable tropical aromas such as pineapple, as well as notes of white flowers. It is a vibrant wine on the palate, a sensation accentuated by its refreshing acidity. Pair with fish, seafood, white meats, cream-based sauces and Asian food.
