Wine Review: This slightly opaque and deep garnet colored Malbec opens with an inviting red raspberry and stewed red plum bouquet with notes of cola. We also detected hint of red cherry and wet earth. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, smooth, and very approachable. The flavor profile is tasty ripe black cherry and vanilla blend with notes of oak and stewed plum. We also detected hints of blackberry and oolong tea in the mix. The finish is dry, and its well-managed medium tannins are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Malbec with grilled steak tips. Enjoy – KWGTP
