Wine Review: This opaque and midnight blue colored red blend from Argentina opens with a mild boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild boysenberry with nicely integrated minerality. I also detected hints oak and black raspberry in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate refined tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This wine is very food friendly and would pair perfectly with slow cooked short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark red-ruby. Peppery dark fruits, black tea, cedar and fresh herbs on the vibrant nose. Reveal a terrific purity of fruit perfectly framed by ripe acidity. Finishes broad, with ripe tannins and excellent grip. Pairing: Beef, pork, lamb, squab, quail and duck.
