Wine Review: This wine is my favorite Chardonnay of the year! This wine rocks! This yellow colored wine opens with a shy bouquet. But hidden beneath those subtle aromas is an absolutely wonderful Chardonnay. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very nicely balanced, and slightly creamy. The flavor profile is lemon custard with lightly infused mineral notes. There is also a presence of lightly toasted oak throughout. The finish is dry and very enjoyable. This delicious Chard would pair perfectly with Chicken St. Timothy or lobster bisque. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Sourced from block 26 (from 850 to 1,000 feet), this site is often under the fogline and hence is slower to ripen and emerge in the glass. Shy and retiring at first, Red Point, with its shallow, young roots is the ultimate gawky teenager who emerges as a stunning full-bodied citrus expression when given time to shine.
