Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle black currant and cherry blend with notes of oak and refined minerality. I also detected hints of black plum towards the end. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build-up and last for quite some time. This Cab would pair very well with Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: As a blend of our best Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard sites, the Estate bottling is one of the most compelling illustrations of the mountain. The 2015 Estate Cabernet starts out with savory aromas of bay, bramble, sandalwood, and menthol. As the wine opens, deep fruit flavors of dark raspberry and plum begin to show. The palate is rich and inviting with supple tannins, incredible length and bittersweet chocolate notes on the finish.
