Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay opens with an attractive oak and apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty apple with notes of butter and mild oak. I also detected a hint of lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Chardonnay is very food friendly. It would pair perfectly with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy
Winemaker Notes: This Chardonnay is consistently one of the most stone-driven wines from the mountain. In 2012 it delivers those minerals alongside a strong citrus element. Tangerine and marmalade emerge first from the glass, opening to a palate that cascades through peach and ocean spray - all culminating in a finish with surprising grip and acidity.
