Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet opens with a lead pencil, blueberry, and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle black currant with hints of black plum, mild oak, and black cherry. The finish is dry and its tannins build up nicely. The panel suggested that this Cab would pair well with an Angus bacon burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The Monument Ridge conveys aromas and flavors of dried blackberry leaves, juniper, cardamom, wild red berries, black pepper, and wet, black slate. The mouthfeel is defined by firm and elegant tannins with a distinct concentration, dark chocolate finish and a sagebrush note so common to the wines from this ridge.
