Wine Review: This opaque and midnight blue colored opens with a fragrant new leather bouquet with hints of barnyard and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty cedar infused plum with hints of blackberry and red currant. The finish is dry and its flavors linger quite some time. This wine would pair well with duck breast. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2010 Estate Syrah must be the most accessible Syrah we've yet produced. We utilized very few stems in the 2010 fermentations and less new oak in the elevage. As a result the finished wines are succulent with brilliant aromatics and silky tannins. Although this wine will be enjoyable upon release, I am confident it will continue to give pleasure for 10+ years.
