Wine Review: This light yellow colored wine opens with a mild Bartlett pear bouquet a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Bosc pear with notes of white pepper and green apple. The finish is dry and subtly fades away. This wine is food friendly and would be a nice compliment to linguine with clam sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A richer palate in 2010, due to a slightly later harvest and the savory depth added by the barrel ferment. The exuberant nose has upfront white peach, freshly cut grass and citrus aromas with spicy, smoky flint notes beneath them. The engaging palate has both freshness and a generous mouthfeel. Long, deep and quite succulent, the characters of pie baked stone fruit and Meyer lemon persist through the clean finish.
