Wine Review: This savory Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa is deep garnet colored and has a nose of currant, dark cherry, eucalyptus, black pepper and a hint of clove. It is medium to full bodied with tight tannins and a nice balance. The flavor profile is juicy plum, cranberry and a hint of smoke and clove with some background earthiness. The sticky tannins linger nicely in the finish. This would go nicely with grilled butterflied leg of lamb. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon shows the classic notes of dark berry fruits, raspberry, licorice, cedar and hints of clove spice. The palate is well structured with ripe, slightly grippy tannins providing the frame for the blackberry, plum and vanilla flavors.
