Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay opens with a fragrant oak, apple, and butterscotch bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, smooth, and rich. The flavor profile is an oak influenced butterscotch with notes of apple and pineapple. There are hints of butter cream, peach, mango, with a touch of stony minerality and pie crust. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a very long time. This Chard is for lovers of the fully oaked California style. I would drink it on its own. Enjoy - Ken
