Wine Review: This straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Sterling is very good. It opens with an appealing mild grapefruit bouquet with hints of ginger and white florals. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with pleasant acidity. It is very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral and very light grapefruit blend with hints of Granny Smith apple, ginger and lime. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity are nicely prolonged. This Sauvignon Blanc is food friendly and will be liked by all. I would pair it with cod fish tacos. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bracing acidity and distinctive freshness is the hallmark of this vintage, with a crisp backbone and bold flavors of green apple, pear, melon, lime and gooseberries framed with grapefruit and white peaches. Medium-bodied, juicy and pleasantly smooth to drink, the memorable finish lingers a while.
