Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Stemmler opens with fragrant brambleberry and blackberry bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very smooth, fruit forward and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe black raspberry and cola blend with nicely integrated oak. I also detected hints of black pepper and plum. The finish is dry and its rich flavors are nicely prolonged. This wine would pair well with slow cooked and tender pot roast. Enjoy - Ken
