Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from Carneros was one of our top scoring wines in our recent big blind tasting. It opens with a very inviting apple bouquet with hints of toffee and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, creamy, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty apple with notes of vanilla light oak. We also detected hints of lemon. The finish is dry and it fades away nicely. The panel suggested pairing this gem with grilled halibut with imperial crab stuffing or grilled ahi tuna. Enjoy - KWGTP
