Wine Review: This terrific ice-styled Vidal Blanc dessert wine was once again one of the best dessert wines poured at this year’s Boston Wine Expo. It is goldenrod colored and opens with an apricot and orange marmalade like bouquet. On the palate, it is pleasantly sweet, balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a ripe apricot and candied ginger blend with hints of marzipan. The finish remains sweet and nicely. We would pair this wonderful dessert wine with sliced green apples and very sharp cheddar cheese. Enjoy – Ken
