Wine Review: This pale straw colored Gewurztraminer from the Finger Lakes is very good. It opens with a mild lychee bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a traditional ripe lychee with hints of white pepper and faint lemon. The finish is dry and flavors linger nicely. This very nice Gewurtz is classic styled and readers who follow the grape will enjoy it. I would serve it with cashew chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich aromas of lavender and rose show that this HAS to be Gewurztraminer! Mouthfilling, with round, and lengthy notes on the finish. Enjoyable with grilled vegetables, roast lamb and pork dishes.
