Wine Review: This light orange colored dessert wine opens with a light orange bouquet with hints of cinnamon and lychee. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, smooth, creamy, luscious, and yet refined. The flavor profile is a delicate honey and mild apricot blend with just a kiss of orange and lime in the background. The finish is moderately sweet and pleasant. This dessert wine has an elegance to it that makes it very easy to drink. A second glass is a must. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This elegant dessert wine starts with rose and lavendar aromas, and is filled with cardomom and cinnamon overtones balanced by a mouth filling structure and an lengthy finish. Perfect with simply custard desserts, especially with a hint of cinnamon or ginger. This Gewurztraminer dessert wine is smooth, well structured and nicely balanced. Although rich in sugar, the acidity provides a pleasing counterpoint, and highlights the dried fruit and lychee flavors. Enjoy this wine on its own after dinner, or pair it with ginger snaps.
