Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from the Napa Valley opens with lemon verbena and chamomile tea bouquet with hints of light oak and a touch of ginger. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and round. The flavor profile an oak influenced red apple with notes of light lemon and green tea. I also detected hints of honeydew melon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. This Chardonnay would pair well with a chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a mild butter cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
