Wine Review: This slightly opaque and deep purple colored blend opens with a black cherry and black currant bouquet with eucalyptus and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, velvety smooth and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a crushed stone, blackberry, and mild pomegranate blend with notes of bay leaf and currant. We also detected hints of dark chocolate in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors and dusty tannins are nicely prolonged. This wine benefits from some aeration. So, we could decant it and then pair it with steak fajitas or steak tips. Enjoy – Ken & Rick
Winemaker Notes: A true compliment of the winery's ability to combine power with grace, the 2019 Investor is warm, rich, and inviting, with exuberant notes of dark blackberry, black cherry, blueberry cobbler, and dark plum, alongside spiced notes of cinnamon, clove, allspice, and vanilla. Alluring notes of black pepper, graphite, and floral violet are interwoven with delicate savory notes of fresh thyme, lavender, and wild sage. The plush mouthfeel is silky and inviting with round tannins that envelope the palate, leading to a long, mouthwatering finish with fresh acidity and vibrancy.
