Wine Review: This light straw colored Riesling from the Mosel region of Germany opens with an Anjou pear and clementine like bouquet with a hint of apricot. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced between its acidity and fruit. The flavor profile is a mild yellow grapefruit with hints of apricot, lime and tangerine. The finish is off-dry and nicely extended. The panel suggested pairing this food friendly Riesling with grilled scallop or almond crusted tilapia. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This off-dry, mineral-rich Riesling delivers refreshing notes of ripe lime, peach and apple. The high iron content of the red slate paired with old vines make for Rieslings of both sophistication and spice. The residual sugar is masterfully woven into this stunning complement to many foods, but especially those inspired by Asian cuisine.
