Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored blend from St. Supery opens with a grapefruit and lime zest bouquet with a hint of lemon verbena. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile is a very tasty Anjou pear and mineral blend with notes of green apple, light lime, vanilla and just a hint of ruby grapefruit in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. I would pair this very nice Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc blend with grilled halibut. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Brilliant pale-yellow hues present this white blend. Aromas offer notes of pink grapefruit, lemon butter, and kiwi with an undercurrent of seductive toasted French oak. Flavors of kumquat, lemongrass, grapefruit zest, and dried peaches are focused and encouraged with the hint of creamy, toasted oak. This is a terrific wine with great texture.
