Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Zinfandel was a hit with the Tasting Panel. It opens boysenberry and strawberry bouquet with hints of violets and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium-plus bodied, balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry and black plum blend with notes of vanilla and Dr. Pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build-up and linger nicely. The Panel would pair this Zin with Dreamland's rib sandwich with a side of baked beans or with a traditional Irish beef and Guinness stew. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Crafted in a rich and full-bodied style, this Zinfandel has a deep, intense color along with spicy aromas of boysenberry pie, dried cranberry and a touch of maple bar that introduce round and full flavors of dark cherry, wild blackberry and chai latte. This opulent Zinfandel is structured but elegant with finely finessed tannins. Excellent with goat cheese or Asian styled seafood or pork.
