Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant, cedar and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and quite smooth. The flavor profile is black currant, cedar and black plum blend with hints of cinnamon, red raspberry, herbal tea and faint crushed stone. The finish is dry and its well-managed tannins build up and then drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this very nice Cab with soft cheeses or Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep and complex with layered aromas and flavors, this wine is a stunner. Notes of cassis, wild blackberry, tobacco and leather are complemented with hints of warm spices and toasted nuts. Plush tannins make for a refined and luscious finish. Excellent with blue cheese, wild mushrooms and ribeye steak.
