Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a green pepper and wet stone bouquet with a hint of yellow grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with zesty plus acidity. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and tangy lime blend with notes of yellow grapefruit pith and nectarine pit. I also detected hints of oregano and green tea. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with an asparagus risotto. Enjoy - Ken
