Wine Review: This light yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc is a classic New Zealand styled wine. It opens with a very ripe grapefruit bouquet with a hint a lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe ruby grapefruit with a touch a lime. The finish is dry and very refreshing. It would pair well with a spiral ham with a brown sugar glaze and sliced pineapple. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale straw color. Lifted by fruit aromas of passionfruit and grapefruit with a background citrus character. Complex mineral and sweet pea notes add interest. Generous and supple with abundant tropical fruit flavors. Initial fruit sweetness is balanced by fine acidity to leave a mouth-watering finish.
