Wine Review: This dark red colored blend from Washington State opens with a mild red cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty plum and strawberry blend with notes of red currant, gentle minerality and oak. The finish is dry and its refined mild tannins drift away nicely. This impressive Cab based wine would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This 2013 Frederick is packed with herbal characteristics and summer fruits such as cherries, strawberries, blackberries. The wine is rich with a firm texture. Tannins are abundant but soft and lingering on an impressively long finish.
