Wine Review: This white gold colored Chenin Blanc opens with wet stone and ripe pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused yellow grapefruit with notes of white pepper and a hint of green apple. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely well after the wine is gone. Readers will find this wine to be a cross between a Sancerre or a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. I would pair this food friendly wine with Coquille St. Jacques. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Light straw colour. Complex tropical nose with spiced apple flavours hinting at modern oaking. Palate is full bodied with a creamy rich mouth-feel, with a lingering fresh pineapple finish.
