Wine Review: This dark red colored Barolo opens with mild black cherry bouquet with a hint of red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty mild old oak and strawberry licorice blend with hints of gentle black cherry-cola. The finish is dry and its building dusty tannins roll on for a very very long time. If you like long finishes, this wine is for you. That said, I would drink it over the next several years. I would decant it and serve it with a well-marbled ribeye steak. Enjoy - Ken
