Wine Review: This bright red colored Barolo is very nice. It opens with a fragrant strawberry and oak bouquet with a hint of red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused strawberry with notes of old oak and morels. I also detected a hint of red plum. The finish is very dry and its dusty tannins linger and last for quite some time. This Barolo would pair well with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy - Ken
