Wine Review: This bright red colored Barolo opens with a mild cherry and leather like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and quite approachable for a young Barolo. The flavor profile is strawberry with notes of old oak and hints of vanilla and touch of red cherry in the background. The finish is quite dry and its very dusty tannins linger and last for a very long time. This is a lighter styled Barolo. I would pair with a cowboy cut prime rib. Enjoy - Ken
