Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend opens with a black raspberry and red currant bouquet with hints of cigar box and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and bright for a Cab. The flavor profile is similar to the nose featuring gentle raspberry and red currant with notes crushed stone minerality and coffee. We also detected hints of anise and all-spice. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab blend with New York strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
