Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a boysenberry and violet bouquet with hints of oak, black cherry, and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, very smooth and completely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is an extracted black currant and oak blend with notes of rich dark chocolate and black tea. We also detected hints of graphite, black licorice, and black cherry as well. The finish is dry and its bold and dusty tannins build-up and stick around for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would decant this young wine for at least an hour before pairing it with a well-marbled ribeye, short ribs, and cigars. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Dark and plush with wonderful density and texture, this estate cabernet sauvignon sings of its place. A focused core of rich blackcurrant, dark caramel, and juicy plum melds with aromas of cured tobacco leaves, baking spice, forest soil and dried mint. Ultrafine tannins and soft, slippery textures make this wine a delight already, with even more promise ahead.
