Wine Review: This food-friendly un-oaked Chardonnay from Oregon is pale yellow in the glass with golden apple, vanilla custard and white florals in the bouquet. It is medium bodied, has medium-plus acidity and is balanced, refreshing and straight forward. There are flavors of lime, green apple, minerality and a hint of green herbs. It has a nice dry long finish. Have it with a summer lunch of herbed chicken salad stuffed into a garden ripe tomato. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: Our 2019 Evolution Chardonnay is anything but buttery, decidedly not oaky and refreshes like summertime sprinklers. With fruit from the Willamette Valley, our winemaking team crafted a Chardonnay in the style they'd like to drink themselves. Dangerously floral and fruit-driven with a crisp finish. It pairs with our favorite chicken curries, fried chicken or fish and chips.
