Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Gris from Oregon opens with a pear and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Bosc pear with notes of pilsner beer with a hint of green apple. The finish is dry and its mild acidity and flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot Gris would pair well with seafood. Broiled sea scallops or swordfish skewers come to mind. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: We produce a dry Pinot Gris. Our 2014 Willamette Valley Pinot Gris has complex undertones of earth and mineral with expressive notes of floral, citrus and melon. Our Pinot Gris has exceptional long-term aging potential and should, if properly cellared, continue to evolve and develop beautifully over the next five to seven years. Pair with crab, oysters, halibut, herbed chicken, soft artisan cheeses and fresh fruit.
