Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Sojourn requires a good swirl to bring out its best. It then opens with a pomegranate, black raspberry, and cinnamon bouquet with hints of old book, milk chocolate and a touch of smokehouse. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and slightly mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a rhubarb and tart black plum blend with notes of wild strawberry and green olives. We also detected hints of pomegranate, black tea, and stony minerality. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins and acidity are lengthy. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with your favorite duck breast recipe or with a charcuterie board. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This 2022 blend offers intense aromas of red fruits and earthy notes, leading to layers of texture and refreshing acidity.
