Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from Sojourn opens with a very inviting light lemon and gentle oak bouquet with hints of asparagus. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is zesty, fresh, and round. The flavor profile is a spiced Bosc pear and lemon blend with notes of white pepper and green tea. I also detected hints of mild oak and chalky minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a very long time. This food friendly Chard would pair well with Chicken St. Timothy. Enjoy - Ken
