Wine Review: This light red colored Pinot Noir from Sojourn opens with a fragrant red licorice and pomegranate bouquet with hints of red raspberry, black pepper, and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, delicate, and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty, dried strawberry and red licorice blend with notes of oak and black tea. I also detected hints of orange zest and clove. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and dusty moderate tannins stick around for a little bit. I would pair this Pinot with sous vide lamb chops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Reuling Vineyard Pinot Noir is a favorite among the Sojourn team members. It offers a complex range of red and dark fruit aromas with hints of earth and savory herbs. The 2022 Pinot Noir opens with complex dark cherry and berry aromas with hints of mushroom, truffle, and Herbes de Provence.
