Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Sojourn opens with red raspberry and Twizzler bouquet with hints of craisin, wet stone, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and rounded with some tension. The flavor profile is a slightly tart red plum and stony minerality blend with notes of red licorice and rhubarb. We also detected some hints of raspberry tea and cinnamon stick. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would serve this Pinot with pork roast, rack of lamb, or with a veal saltimbocca roulade. Enjoy – KWGTP
