Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Sojourn opens with a black currant and black cherry bouquet with hints of cedar, herbs de Provence, and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, polished and fruit forward. The flavor profile is black currant and pomegranate blend with notes of tart plum and black tea. We also detected hints of milk chocolate, licorice, and coconut. The finish is dry, and its flavors and moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would suggest pairing this Cab with a NY strip steak or with a cassoulet. Enjoy – KWGTP
