Wine Review: This pale straw colored Alvarinho from Portugal opens with a honeydew melon and saline bouquet with hints of lemon. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is lemon tea and nectarine blend with notes of saline and ginger ale. We also detected hints of green tea and kiwi. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely.
