Wine Review: This 2013 Snoqualmie is a nice entry level Chardonnay. It has a straw color and opens with a nice citrus, lemon, pear and oak bouquet. The citrus, pear and oak carry through to the palate and which is medium bodied. The flavor profile is also smooth and slightly buttery and exhibits good balance and structure. The Snoqualmie has a mild citrus and pear finish and is very food friendly. I would pair this wine with grilled tilapia or your favorite grilled fish. – Joe
Winemaker Notes: This Chardonnay opens with hints of orange blossom and aromas of citrus and pear fruit on the nose. The palate has a citrusy component with toasted sweet oak flavors and a balanced, creamy finish.
