Wine Review: This medium straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Smith Devereux and Cedric the Entertainer opens with a chamomile tea and light lemon bouquet with hints of almond, pear, pineapple, and lychee. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and zesty. The flavor profile is quince and herbal tea blend with notes of green apple and asparagus. We also detected some hints of honeydew melon, lychee, lemon pith, and saline. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with linguini with a garlic clam sauce or with oysters on the half-shell. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Dry, crisp, and refreshing, this playful and easy-drinking Sauvignon Blanc blend has hints of California sunshine and relaxed beach vibes. Sustainably farmed and made. 10% of all profits will be donated to RedRoseReads foundation to support literacy programs everywhere. It’s what my mother would've wanted, therefore I implore you all to “Toast a glass with a touch of Class.” Enjoy! Live, Love, Laugh. I’ll Holla! Pair with fish tacos, pasta, halibut, and ethnic cuisines of all kinds (just not too spicy)
