Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Merlot based Napa blend from Cedric the Entertainer and Ian Devereux White opens with a black cherry and black currant bouquet with hints of cedar and sage. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, silky smooth, polished, and sensual. The flavor profile is black currant and graphite blend with notes of blackberry and very dark chocolate. We also detected hints of black cherry, black pepper, and vanilla in the aftertaste. The finish is very dry, and its flavors and dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would pair this red blend with a messy rack of ribs slathered with Cedric’s “All Day” barbecue sauce or with a well-marbled ribeye steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
