Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored red blend opens with a fragrant black currant, anise, black cherry and old oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, bit rustic, savory and juicy. The flavor profile is a black pepper infused red currant with notes of plum, oak and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its medium tannins and acidity linger slightly. This red blend is a pretty good $15 every day wine. It would pair well with a barbecue bacon burger or a pepperoni pizza. Enjoy - Ken
