Wine Review: This light yellow colored value Chard opens with a fragrant apple and apricot bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and slightly creamy. The flavor profile is a mild blend of lemon custard with notes of pineapple. There was a touch of green apples and light oak detected as well. This Chard showed a lot of character for this level. The finish is dry and lingers slightly. Our mini group thought this wine would pair well with cashew chicken or Chicken Lo Mein. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of pear, kumquat, peaches, lemon, and barrel toast. Flavors of pear, lemon, bees wax, and spice from fine grain oak. Long smooth rich mouth feel with a touch of lemon acidity to finish. - Rob Chowanietz, Winemaker
